US Glass Design Awards
Richard is pleased to be one of the judges in the US Glass Design Awards. He was one of four judges internationally who helped select winners in four categories (High Rise Construction; Low to Mid Rise Construction; Specialty Construction; and Commercial Interiors). Richard recused himself from multiple entries which he was involved with. AISC Spectacular Structures
AISC recently announced its 10 Spectacular Structures of the Past Decade. Seattle Space Needle Awards
Adding to the AIA regional awards, the Space Needle Century Project is the winner of the 2020 ENR Northwest Regional Best Project award for Renovation/Restoration is now a finalist for ENR Project of the Year! Richard is proud to have led the team that designed and engineered all the glazing systems for the Century Project and continues to be engaged in ongoing works. Congratulations to all who helped make this project a success, including Olson Kundig, Hoffman Construction Company, Arup, BRC Acoustics, Seneca Group, Battle Management Consulting, Magnusson Klemencic Associates, Holaday-Parks, Inc., Front Inc, Niteo, RDH Building Science Tihany Design, McVey Oakley and Fives Lund LLC.

US Glass Design Awards 2021
US Glass Magazine has released its 2021 design awards with a collection of heroic, beautiful, environmentally upgraded and historically sensitive glass installations. Richard was delighted to be invited to be on the judging panel again. Congratulations to the winners and great credit to the many worthy entries.
